The LEADER programme is designed to promote business growth and stimulate job creation, particularly amongst micro and small businesses. Rural and tourism businesses across the Chilterns and Clay Vales can apply for grants worth up to £50,000 to help support their growth and sustainability. LEADER is focused on supporting farm diversification projects, forestry projects, tourism projects, rural services, and cultural and heritage projects. LEADER is part of the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE).
The RDPE Growth Programme supports projects that invest in building businesses, creating new jobs and growing the economy in rural areas. Grants of £35,000 or more are available to support food processing, business development and tourism infrastructure projects across the private, public and voluntary sectors.
